It's sold!

The other day, I took my son with me to the market and as we were leaving, there was a thrift shop across the street. So as a nice Mommy would, I asked if he wanted to take a look inside the store. His wonderful answer was... "no". So I did the dear lovely Mommy voice, "come on, real quick" (ya right, he knows me). So, of course, we went. While I was looking around, I found a pair of pretty rose pictures. The problem was-- only one of them had a price of $6.99 and the other was blank. Unfortunately, at the stores around here, if an item is not priced, they will not sell it. So I asked a lady who worked at the back counter if the price was for both of the pictures since they seemed to be a set or for just one. She looked puzzled and said, "One." Phooey. I cannot tell you how many times I put those pictures down only to pick them back up again. I could not decide. Finally, my smart 8 year old said, "Mommy, if you like them just buy them". If only making up my mind were that easy all the time. I took his advice and went to pay at the front where the manager was and I asked her the same question. She said she'd sell them both to me for $6.99 and when I left I only paid $3.67. What? I looked at my recipt and there was a 50% off special that day and I didn't even know it. (Confetti please!)

Now they just need a lil love, but that's what I'm for.
The hard part is deciding "oh where, oh where" to hang them.
