Ain't No Bath For A Bird

This is a birdbath right? Nope, it is a BIG water dish for our (really mine) two kitties--Pickle Chips & Finney Dolphin. I have wanted a birdbath for quite sometime and my WONDERFUL parents surprised me with it this year for my birthday. Unfortunately that BIG orange fella is a confessed bird killer. The poor little flying birdies LOVE my garden but we have a tiger in it...Pickle Chips. BEWARE!!! So instead of looking out my big front window in the morning and seeing birds drinking out of the birdbath, I see the furry beasts lapping it up--our darling kitty cats.

Did you do the mosaic in the bottom of it? That is so cute.

Your bird bath is so beautiful. I wish my cat would terminate the birds. They poo everywhere. My dogs just look at them...like they are entertaining. :-)

What a pretty design! I can see my kitties doing that, then licking it dry and sleeping in it!

I just got a birdbath this year and so far my kitty has not discovered it but he does love our koi pond. He loves to find bugs outside. Not so much into birds as he is bugs. Your bird bath is very pretty!

Hi
Just found your sweet blog. My beloved MIL had a birdie butcher. She started feeding him meat, and he no longer went after the birds.
