A Little Peek At My Kitchen

This is my kitchen....
for now.....
(Those are licorice bites, ya know-- for rewarding & bribing small children)
Hopefully, SOON we will add a new and larger kitchen
onto the back of our house
(and one with some color on the walls & a pink chandelier over the sink).
But for now, I like my kitchen.

I love the pieces you have sitting around your kitchen, especially the 3 tiered footed pink plates. I think they are pink, are they one piece or 3 pieces. Whatever they are very pretty.

Cute kitchen, Wendy! Love the fridge art, the vintage phone, the pic of you and hubby, and the bribe jar! I keep jars on my counter for my granddaughters. The minute they come in the 20 month old points to where her sister has taught her the treasure lies!

Your kitchen is lovely. I too have a jar...and believe me, those grandkids know exactly where Grandma keeps their fishys and other sorted goodies. Very cute!

I want some licorice! I will take a bribe. lol I love it! love your teapot metal, love the hearts, great phone. My grands know where Granna keeps the candy! I have to say no computer, to get my bribing done. lol

I see cake plates! I love those and you've so many sweet pretties. It's no wonder you like your kitchen :0).
My kids won't go near licorice unless it's red. I tend to use "no computer or no video games!" and that will usually get them to do what needs doing, lol!

Cute things you have around your kitchen. I know what you mean about that little "reward" jar for the kids.

My favorite treasure? I LOVED the plate and platter on top of the cabinet! Do those have special meaning? Are they from a grandmother or did you inherit them? Inquiring minds want to know! I am being serious because I love antique dishware!

Very cut kitchen - I love that retro phone! But how could I walk and talk at the same time? How spoiled we've become! I remember my dad getting so irritated with me when I was a teenager for stretching out the phone cord into an unrecognizable former coil!
