This Was Never Meant to Be A

'Mommy' blog. The whole blogging thing happened one day when I was googling Romantic Country Magazine and I found My Romantic Home blog along the way. That's how it all started. I loved pretty things, thrift store shopping for knick knacks and linens, and my home magazines. Like every other girlie girl romantic at heart, my two favorites are Romantic Country and Romantic Homes magazines. For a while, my hubby was a little worried I was becoming a Grammie 'collecting' pretty thingies I was fond of-- and collecting was not one of his favorite words. A relative told me, "Wait till you have to dust all those things" (BUT, I bought a feather duster). Things have changed though....My hubby enjoys the home I'm slowly creating for our family, knick knacks and all. And I can't resist posting pictures and sharing tid-bits about all my stinkers, I mean, my sweet Cupcakes. I like change and I like sharing my life which is what I get to do on this blog. I also love reading other Mommy blogs, Home decorating blogs, crafting blogs and just down right pretty blogs. Kids, cabinets, linens and all.

Ahhh...thanks for mentioning me! That's nice that your husband appreciates that you are making a beautiful home for your family! He sounds like a wonderful guy! He probably sees that it makes you happy to do this and when mom is happy, everyone is happy! Right?

Those two great magazines are the only ones I buy.... I have an award for you so stop by when you get a chance..

Im the same way too!! We moved from a 600 sq ft house to an 1800 sq ft house (total blessing from the Lord) so now that leaves SOOO much more room to collect. Its a s-l-o-w process but I LOVE it! Enjoy every second!

what a tidy dollhouse! Mom is just 'part' of who you are, kids are part of what makes it home:) Keep sharing it all:)
