It went a little something like this:
Me: I have a new idea of something I'm going to start collecting. Vintage salt & Pepper shakers and put glitter in them for the kids.
I'm going to start looking for them at the thrift stores.
Him: There is a problem with what you just said
Me: What is that? (curious because my hubby is REALLY smart)
Him: 'You have a new idea.'
Me: Ya! (thinking he isn't sounding too smart right now)
Him: Well, you can collect as many ideas as you want, because they won't clutter up the house and you don't have to dust them.
He thinks I'm turning into a Grammy with all my 'collecting'.
I think it's o.k as long as I have a pretty place for it all.

I think Vintage Salt ans Pepper shakers used for children's crafts is a lovely idea. I think women are at heart nesters and we need to bring all the little sticks, fluff and feathers into the nest to make a warm, comfy, safe place for our families.

That is such a great idea! I have a whole collection of those from my grandma and I never thought of that! Yeah... guys just don't get it. I don't even try to explain. :)
Sounds great!!! Do you know Cracker Barrel had the cutest bunny and chick pastel PINK and green S and P shakers for only .99 each??? I bought them for my dear friend who is a collector. Do you have them near you??
Gotta love the hubby's but sometimes they just don't understand ;)
