What did my husband bless me with for
our 8th wedding anniversary on Tuesday?
Something I have wanted for a long time.
Something I have been looking for-- for a long time.
Something I could not buy for myself.
Something everyone in our family will love
(or at least enjoy to some extent).
Something that is his favorite color (ha!).
Something that arrived by UPS on my anniversary.
An 11 foot patio umbrella for the picnic table he built a while back.
We also got a special little extra to go with it:
a string of clear vintage light bulbs to hang inside.
And then, to top it off, we received a great big surprise
anniversary gift from my father in law.....
a generous gift to buy 2 white metal tulip chairs for the back patio.
Nice.
Today's to do list:
Call Papou and thank him.
A lot!
My back yard is truly my garden of Eden.
I like home.
