Jasper is 6 months now and he's a real cutie
He thinks he owns my bed
And my husband and I are the visitors
{well, Daddy at least}
He doesn't like to be alone
It's from having 7 other siblings
He thinks nursing needs to be done as often
as he breathes
Eating solids is entertaining and food
is merely meant to be smeared all over the place

not swallowed
and bathing is just another form of playtime
Splashing hard enough to make the water fly out,
smiling broadly is what you're supposed to do isn't it?
He thinks Ruby is really funny and she lights up his world
He'll play for a while if you surround him with toys from his basket.
None of this is really enough to tire him out

because he only takes several 10 minute naps throughout the day

and I've come to realize that I shouldn't expect anything more
And I think he likes being # 8
because his siblings really do love and appreciate him.
