Lincoln: Victorious

One of the main reasons I continue to blog is to record my children’s lives and our life as a family. I want them to be able to look back when they grow up and enjoy the memories. They don’t even have to be out of the house. Just the other day we were looking at some of my older posts laughing out loud. So in order to keep up with everything, I need to go back and post some of the birthdays from earlier this year-- especially those in April. River’s made it, but not Lincoln’s, Ethan’s or Parker’s. It kinda makes me feel like a bad Mommy.

So the next three days will be my three boy’s birthdays that I already should have blogged.

First is Lincoln.

Lincoln: Victorious

Psalm 45:4
In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.

This guy has a personality of pure sweetness. He can melt your heart with his charming smile. [There have been several incidents of young girls claiming that Lincoln was so cute that they would just love to ‘cut off his head’ and take it home with them. To me, that sounds more than a little gross, but apparently with junior high girls it’s quite a compliment.]

Handsome and soft spoken.

He looks up to Charlie, but would never admit that. Or that Charlie is his best friend. He’s very smart and loves drawing. There isn’t one person who doesn’t like Lincoln. How could you not?

There is something wonderfully special about his disposition.

This wasn’t always always the case when he was smaller as he would scream all the time. That’s how he got the nicknames, Screaming Eagle and Stinkin’ Lincoln.

But over time and with lots of love, he’s become an absolute doll.
