This is sooo strange and it happened to me yesterday. So I have to share it today.

As I was cleaning up after my six stinkers (they made a BIG mess) during breakfast, I thought--I need to buy a pink butter dish. I was thinking how cute it would be to have one. I have no idea where the thought came from, I was fine using old china saucers. Sometimes thoughts come at odd times, don't they? In the shower, while cleaning, changing a diaper...
So whatever-- I figure, maybe I'll check ebay if I get a chance or I'll forget about it. So when my sweetie pie got home from teaching, I headed over to the thrift stores. Mind you, I have not been for two weeks (you know-- the budget, ladies, the budget)! So guess what happens? I walk in the store, look around for a bit and then suddenly, my eye is captured by the wonder of wonders glowing like a precious star--it's a pink butter dish. I cannot tell you how many times I've been to this particular thrift store and never do they have pink glassware. But yesterday was a day like no other. Yeah. Isn't that soooo strange? All in one day. I felt like I had won a contest (which I never have done). To make things even BETTER, my lovey dovey even liked it. So today my beautiful pink butter dish has found itself a new home.

Love your pink butter dish. I have a clear one just about like it. They are depression glass which are collectibles. And the pink depression glass is more valuable than clear or green. So enjoy your very special find.
Smiles.
