Pink

Being that today is the party for Miss Princess, Mermaid, Twinkie, Cupcake Sophia I will post the new pink cake stand I will be using to hold her "had to be pink strawberry cake". It's funny when I use to have any guests over I felt like I HAD to clean every detail in the house. Under beds, mini blinds, molding, etc. Places where friends would never even see, let alone even myself. I love that I've been told by my Mom and husband to enjoy life and my children. They won't grow up remembering how clean the house was. But the love and fun they had. So this time when I started becoming stressed it felt good to stop, pray and relax. I want to enjoy getting ready for guests so I have a good testimony to my lil ducklings. Thanks Mom and Honey. Now back to the cake stand...
It's funny I found it at Ross for only 19.99. I could not believe it. What a deal. I have always admired them but found them to always be around $50-60.00. So for today may you enjoy the outdoor sunshine and find ways to have a fun "pinkish" day.

Welcome to your first Pink Saturday, Wendy. I fixed your name. Your e-mail came through saying Chris.

I love the pink cake stand. I have always admired them, too. Enjoy your time with your family.

Your cake stand is just lovely!!! I like your philosophy about cleaning. I get myself just as stressed and it is good to be reminded to just let go!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Wow! What a beautiful cake stand, I would have guessed it to be alot more expensive than that, actually I thought it was an old piece, it's absolutely gorgeous!

I, too, am learning that not everything has to be perfect to have company. We've been having alot of pool parties this year and nobody even notices that there might be a stray weed growing somewhere that didn't get pulled or that my dishes in the china cupboard didn't get dusted. Clean is good, perfection is not! Family fun time and less stress is what matters the most!
