Yes, I was reflecting a bit on those same lines last night, well really, early this morning. I was up in the middle of the night for a few hours and looked at some of the bloggers sites who I have been praying for. One lost his wife to cancer at the end of July; another has had her child kidnapped, raped and returned to her; another has a 3 year old who is a miracle and is having a kidney transplat this month; another is a 3 year old with a brain tumer and not expected to live for very much longer. I thought about them and the persecuted Chrisians all around the world....I thought of all the hardships and sorrows of this life....AND YET there is always a thread of beauty that runs through all of this. The beauty of faith going through and holding us up. The delight of God's presence in the midst of sorrow. The wonder and delight of human relationships, of touch, of love, of sharing, ....so yes...part of enjoy God's good gifts is enjoying those blessed moments of life with our kids!! Good Post.

Wonderful passage. Thanks for sharing it today.

This is very good. Children grow up so fast. It's a shame that too many times parents think about these things after their children are out of the home. Thank you for sharing on Spiritual Sundays. Have a great day!

I've read that before, but it's good to re-read it. We should never forget how truly blessed we really are!

That is beautiful Wendy, thank you! Each sentence is a reminder of how blessed we are and to give thanks for each one of them.

Have a glorious Sonday!

Such a nice way to remember what "really is important" ~ in a child's life, and our own...

We always need to be reminded about time, the value we place on it, and how we use it to love and affirm others. I think often of the time I have been negligent with. I so want to be a better steward of it.

Hugs, KJ
