Beware Of Boys..

Just a quick note... I went out to Target and bought like a Ka-zillion Air wick oil plug-ins. Harvest scent to bring a little of the Fall into our 'never cold' California cottage. My house is dripping with the warm cozy smell of pumpkin harvest spice. Everyone has commented how GOOD my 'home sweet home' smells. Well not everyone... This little stinker of mine, came home this week after visiting with my parents. He went up with my parents to their vacation cabin in the mountains. And the first thing he said when he came home and walked in the door was--"What is that smell? I don't really like it." You would think he would have recognized that wonderful smell after spending a few days in the mountains. Come on. I'm sure Air wick knows what harvest pumpkin-spice smells like right? The moral of this story is--Beware of Boys--they don't know what pretty smells are even if it was made, wrapped up and sold in a bottle. What do boys know-- rocks, sticks, dirt, swords, weapons and old Levi's, right?

Cute story! I bet the poor guy is just stuck smelling it though. I know he would be at my house!

That pink paint color you asked about is Petal Pink by Valspar at Lowes. Hope that helps and sorry it took me so long to get the info to you. I just found the leftover paint yesterday! Thanks for visiting my blog.

I have that same scent in my house and I love coming home to it. It makes my house smell like fall. Maybe your son's smeller is off a bit after coming from the mountains....LOL!!

HA! I sprayed my Pumpkin Spice Febreze yesterday and my son said "What is that stinky smell?". I told him it was the smell of Fall. He's the stinker!

Boys will be boys, and we wouldn't have it any other way. I have two (older-30's) boys and now they just amuse Mom with decorations and scents. Love and Prayers,

Don't you love it when you find the PERFECT thing, and 'someone' just has to remind you that everyone has different tastes!!!
