Thrift Store...

Thrift store--thrift store I scream for thrift store!
Not really, but it sounded cute. I don't really NEED anything, but I
do love saving money.
Hence, I love going to the thrift store and
finding something for a dollar or two.
When I was growing up, I
was kinda the girl who would sit in the car hiding while
my Mom
was at a garage sale. I was FOOLISH, huh? But now--I LOVE IT!!!!
I have such a
fun time looking and touching and buying things of the
past, things that
might have been loved by another, things that make
my home cozy and fun. Come on--
where can you buy a cute, dainty
teacup in PERFECT condition for $1.99? The thrift store.
Or how
about a brand new fuzzy pink blanket from Marshalls for 2.00? The
thrift store.
Vintage tablecloths for $1.00 with no tears or stains? The
thrift store.
A Simply Shabby 'Ditsy Daisy' balloon shade for 1.00?
Need I answer?
Well, I just want wanted to share my finds. Each
under 5.00 each.

If that's the teacup you got for $1.99 then that's a steal. Yesssssss, thrift stores are wonderful, my little cherub. And you were definitely foolish sitting in the car while mom shopped. Didn't you realize they have TOYS at garage sales also???? LOL
Smooches,

Hi Wendy! Thankyou for visiting my blog!
I lOVE your pink blog! FUN stuff!
Ive thrift-shopped all my life! I grew up in Laguna Beach, and there were tons of shops to go thru back then!
My fave was Tippecanoes (still there). We'd leave Highg school and go shopping! I used to have soo many vintage tablecloths I would turn into pants and (midi)skirts! lol

I work in Orange, and the Orange Circle is to die for thrifting/junking!
