I am SO inspired constantly byCindy at My Romantic Home.We all know her and love her blog. Well today my post is inspired by her bedroom. Very pretty, very sweet. I really loved her hankies hanging over her bedroom window. So here are my hankies, in my...home sweet bedroom. Take a look at me ironing the vintage hankies I found here and there (hey, you weren't suppose to get my fanny in there...thats what happens when an 8 year old takes the picture, they just don't understand) Back to the hankies--I love the look and the darlingness of it.(the hankies).
Hi Wendy... Just LOVE your display of pretty hankies! I have a passion for vintage hankies and have a nice lil collection going... now I need to figure out what window I can hang some in front of! So nice to see a photo of Mrs. Pink Slippers, too!! You are adorable! I hope you and your dear family are doing well... have a wonderful day! God bless...
That looks great! When I first saw the picture I thought it was my window!!! I'm very honored to be mentioned here today...and it's my birthday so you picked a great day to make me feel good!!!
Wendy, The hankies look great. You displayed them beautifully. Great collection. Just love hankies. Use cloth napkins in the kitchen/dinning room. Same great look. Love and Prayers, Suzanne
LOVE your display of pretty hankies!Very romantic and sweet look. Also I sending you this prayer for your dad. Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. 0 dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We place our sick under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us. Keep your faith and hope high. Blessings, Virginia
I just love vintage hankies. When my daughter was younger, I would embellish her jeans, overalls and denim jackets with them along with vintage chenille. Your window is great!
Hi Wendy... Just wanted to invite you to come visit, and also pick up an award that I have for you! I hope everything's going well in your world... See you soon... God bless...
Hi Wendy, I discovered your blog through Jennifers at The Old Pianted Cottage. Your family looks so sweet. I love how the children all resemble. This idea for the vintage hankies is darling. I have a pretty good collection of them, myself. The only room that is cottagey is my workroom, SO maybe I should doll it up a bit. Thanks for the inspiration! ;D Tammy

Hi Wendy! I love Cindy's blog too! And those handkerchiefs are one of my favorite things she did also. It is such an easy way to dress up a window!
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog :)

That is so darling! I love Cindy's blog too. I have seen those vintage hankies made into a bed skirt! I would love to try that sometime.

Very pretty! You can make a lamp shade cover with them too just to add another touch in the room.
