I am a professed Disneyland fanatic. We had a GREAT time, of course. Imagine, though, my hubby, me and SIX children (2 under two) hustling from one attraction to another. Whew! I need another vacation after that. Even my hubby said that after dragging 4 little pumpkins while pushing 2 more in a stroller all over the park, bumping into anyone in our path, and getting home at 2:00 am, he thinks going to work is A LOT easier. Not to mention the money that was flying out of his hand. I must say that I think Disneyland is my all time FAVORITE place. Maybe it is the beauty and era of the architecturel style of all the buildings on Main Street. Maybe it's the world of imagination and dreams. Maybe it's the joy of seeing all the little ones light up when they see Woody or some other favorite character. I truly cried when I saw my little girl start screaming for happiness when she saw Sleeping Beauty at the Princess Faire and my little 3 year old go bananas when Woody came over and said 'Hi' to him. It brings me such overwhelming joy to give my children such a BLESSED life. I had GREAT parents, but we had many trials as a family because our house did not serve the Lord. Even though I am hardly the perfect Mommy, always in need of God's help and grace, their lives are wonderful in comparison. Unknown to my little buttercups-- no matter how much I tell them-- is the fact that they have a great, blessed, fulfilling and well-rounded childhood. I say all this because I know what I missed out on, what hard times my family went through, the struggles I endured to bring me to the place where I knew I needed a Savior and where I am now. I see so many young people making mistakes that I made or maybe even worse ones. I want to save them, change them and help them all at once. I hope, like any other parent, that my children will not have to experience the worst of life like I did. Every night when they go to bed and I listen to their prayers, I know God hears them and hears mine-- to keep them safe.

Wendy, You brought tears to my eyes this morning. Your words are so inspiring with love for the LORD. I gave myself to the LORD during a film festival at school. (Billy Gram Crusade of 1966)Little did I know, it would be the best day of my life. Our children are certainly BLESSED knowing the Lord from birth. Love and Prayers, Suzanne

Oh, it is my happy place too! I am a Southern Cal girl through and through. I spent every summer there as a child. I love Disney World but Disneyland is just near and dear to my heart. My dad is very sick right now too. I knew we were soul sisters...wink wink
That was a sweet and touching post. I love Disneyland too! I would go there anytime...I have so much fun every time I go! Glad you got to go even though it was a lot of work, you made memories for your precious children!
Blessings,

With the Lord invited in everyday, you ARE living Disneyland!!
I cry every time I watch my children watching the Main Street parade!
Hi Wendy... Such a sweet 'n loving post... So nice that you and your Husband are able to visit Disney with your children! We have never been, and most likely never will be able to go... My Parents took my sister and brother when I was a baby and left me with an Aunt... such are things with birth order sometimes... Thanks for sharing and for being such a good Mom and a good child of God... God bless...
~hugs 'n prayers~

Your words about your children touched my Mommy's heart! We just moved to Florida and are 30 minutes or so from Disney World. I am anxious to go. I hope we get to go at Christmas. That is our plan so far. Your family sounds absolutely PRECIOUS!
Smiles, Cassidy
