My Knick Knack Cabinet

I found this cabinet at the thrift store for 5.00. It was one of those early Saturday mornings when my Sweetie just wanted me to get out of the house for a little and have a small break from being Mommy. I don't know if that is really possible since I always ask if one of the Cupcakes want to go with me. Someone always says "Yes". I'm going to put the cabinet in my 'home sweet bedroom' so I painted it black and bought an applique from Do-It-Yourself-Chic. It was very easy and a lot of fun seeing it when the project was all finished. Now I have a little spot in my bedroom for my pretty trinkets.

I like what you did to your cabinet Wendy! It looks more modern.
We have a thrifted cabinet we put over a hard to hide fuse box in our family room (use to be the garage). It looks better.

Your cabinet went from junk to a wonderful treasure. I have one in attic, just may need to fix it up, after seeing yours.

That is fantastic! Our thrift stores would charge $25 for that same thing. I wish I could get so lucky! You did beautiful work.
