Finding the two in separate thrift shops makes the set even more special! Regarding the pink glass plates, I would do the same. The day you have a large crowd for dinner you will not regret buying both sets!
I just love that little plate. I inherited an entire set from my grandmother when she passed away. Same exact pattern and everything. I just love it. My grandmother used to call these sweet pink little roses on these pretty dishes her *everyday china*. She was a southern bell from Alabama. Prim & proper to the very end. congrats on ur finds.
