“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” --Picasso

I have more then a few artists in my Home Sweet Cottage.

Art that is original....
Art that matches my home perfectly....
Art that I really cherish...
Art that I will always keep...
And most important, I know the artists personally!

It's so fun to see children's artwork. I love the things I get from my grandchildren, and I still have artwork that my girls did when they were growing up. Thanks for sharing.

Blessings,

I love the row of turkeys all decorated!

The children must love to see their work on display. I have an idea-find a wall and add cork to it (I think you can paint it)! I saw it on one of the makeover shows and it's awesome.
And I do have to say they are very talented.

Our home looks a lot like that. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I take pictures of the art work and then place it in an album for the children.

I love your blog! I am a fellow-mother of 6. My youngest is 17. She did bring some pottery home from her ceramics class:) I miss getting the children's artwork --but last weekend my little neice and nephew surprised me with some from them!:)
You have a lovely display of your children's artwork--are they signed?:)

ok that is soooo SWEET! I saw something I think it was on pottery barn how they would just hang like 5 or 9 different square frames wtih nothing in them... So you could keep haning up the childs art. Its such a colorful thing...and beautiful! I love how colorful your childresn art is! So cute

Nothing is more special than something one of my grandchildren draws or paints for me. I love to hang them and display them. Your children are so talented. I found a box full of my artwork from the 50's. You might want to save theirs for them someday!

Wonderful...The children are fortunate to have their art work so nicely displayed. I am sure it provides incentive to keep on creating.

I love that you display your children's art everywhere - you will treasure these more than any famous painting you could hang instead!

Very cute. I love the plaque about little houses. And good for you for doing the Thanksgiving tree. I want to do it, but my little one won't get it yet.
