My New Love
One time while visiting my sister, I discovered that my sister's sweet little daughter had a few "Josef" figurines given to her by her Grandmother. They were the birthday ones with the number on them indicating how old the child was. When I arrived home from my visit, I immediately went on a mission to find a couple and start a collection for my Twinkies. Right now, I just have two for each sweet Cupcake. Each one is for the month they were born. I absolutely love the Josef figurines now and want to buy some other style ones--for me, of course. They are just too darling and sweet looking. They reflect the era in which I would have LOVED to have been born.

I love those birthday figurines. I wish I had started a collection for my granddaughters when they were first born. Not long ago at an antique mall I saw a "0" for a newborn. I'm so sorry I didn't buy it! Your figurines are so pretty!

Oh how I love these!!! I had the most beautiful similar figurine from when I was little BUT hubby smashed it to bits when he moved my dresser WITHOUT taking everything off!!! Oh the tears!!! You daughters will cherish them!
So pretty!! I love the sweet litte josef figures too. I see them all the time in the antique stores, but I have yet to buy one. Your table centerpiece from your prior post is just as pretty. Love the green candles mixed in with the white. Very elegant and pretty.
Oh, one of my daughters has several of the Josef Birthday girls; they are charming! Her best friend has one for every one of her birthdays, right thru the 21st.
I have a cute little Josef spaniel figurine that I treasure. He comes out every Christmas to join the festivities.

Thanks so much for showing your Josef Dolls. After seeing them here, I had to dig out mine. I have 3 porcelain dolls from when I was a girl that I dug out after seeing them here. THANKS so much for the re-newed interest in them. I actually had not thought about them in forever! Seeing them here made my day ;-)
