A PickleChips Sighting!

Driving home from my son's basketball game-- we saw him! PickleChips was walking (strolling) down the sidewalk. Going home? We don't know. My hubby stopped the car and jumped out to grab our missing family pet. We drove the rest of the way (two houses) with my beloved, orange fuzz ball on my lap. There were so many smiling faces that night. Everyone was giving him so much love. PickleChips is finally found. He ate, got petted, ate some more, and THEN, he left AGAIN! Can you believe it? I couldn't take it! At that moment, I was heard saying that I didn't care anymore and I would just get another cat to replace him (all a lie). But by the grace of God, however, the next morning, we found him on the front porch. We all ran outside to give him some love, LOTS of love. I think he is definitely playing with our hearts. And now I haven't seen him for a couple days. Where, oh where do you go PickleChips? Then, while on our way to church Sunday night, we spotted him on someone's porch having a grooming-fest. I MADE my hubby go to their door because I was convinced that they were the ones feeding him. They denied it. BUT, I don't believe them. It's personal now! I feel so used. Used by a cat who never-- NEVER left my porch ever for four full years! THANK you for all the prayers. I really think that it helped us find him.

UPDATE: PickleChips was neutered when he was a little guy. AND he has a girl kitty (spayed) waiting for him here, too. My 8 year old had a wedding ceremony for them a few years back with all the Cupcakes attending.

Hi Wendy--I havent been out surfing blogs for a while--but saw your post on your kitty! So glad you found him...is he neutered??? Our male cats always stayed close to home once we neutered them--actually the females did too! And yes the cat is is one of the kids too--part of the family.

Wendy, I'm so happy that PickleChips is/was back home. At least you know he's well and hasn't been hurt. I think someone in your neighborhood must be giving him a snack or something! Maybe he has a girlfriend...it is mating season for kitties! He will return...he knows where "home" is!

Your Picklechips looks so much like my cat. Ours stays close to home but every once in awhile he will take a little two day break from us and we start to panic too. Our cat is fixed so that isn't the reason he roams. I'm glad yours came home.

Cats are soo funny that way.....Bribe him with some extra special food for a week or so..LOL

The cupcake pan was $29.99 at Target....they could not find one with a price so they gave it to me for $19.99....I told them it was more then that but they could not find someone to do a price check....I got lucky :)

I think our cat has a whole string of other families. He disapears for a week or more at a time and comes home fat and jolly.
