Remember when I went thrift store shopping the other week? This wasmy most treasured find. I could not believe my eyes when I gazed upon
these precious prints. When I was a little girl, I had the one with
the praying little girl over my bed. I have no idea what ever
happened to it, but I knew that I WANTED one for my little daughter's
room. Last year, I searched ebay and web store, but unfortunately
found that they were more than I wanted to spend. However, with the
hustle and daily business of life, I forgot about and stopped looking
for them UNTIL that special day in the local thrift store. The
pictures, frames and paint are in PERFECT condition. The best part
was that there were two of them -- both a boy & girl praying. The
most fabulous part: They were $1.99 EACH. I was and still am besides
myself. I LOVE THESE PICTURES and they remind me of my own pretty
princess bedroom with my white canopy bed from my childhood.

I have those!!! They were in my sisters room when she was young and then passed to me! I still have them in their original frames too :0). I'm so glad you were able to find some because they are precious.

That kinda happened to me as I found some red Tuppermaid Cookie cutters just like my mom had when I was a kid.
I meant 'good' price, not neat again-must be time for bed!

Isn't it so fun when we find something that brings back a happy memory. I felt that way when I found a cookie jar just like my aunt had when I was a little girl and I bought it immediately because it brought so many happy memories.

I find so many great things at secondhand stores. My kids' room has almost all of its decoration taken from thrifting!
