I got tickled by your post below on your cat. My dad has a cat at work and got pretty attached to him, which is out of character for dad! LOL! He gets quite offended and hurt when Tommy strays to other homes for a while! But, Tommy always comes back! :)

It kind of points out all that mom and dad really is. I think this is a perfect reminder to little ones that isn't all about material things, its about the heart! Great books!
