I have one of these-- I won't name names, but it's usually no more than ten minutes after stuffing our faces that this one will come over and say, "I'm hungry". To be honest, it's kinda annoying. Their quick-witted Daddy's reply is, 'Hi Hungry, nice to meet you". The main culprit is a very twiggy little girl, who can stash 4 big bowls of pasta in her tummy even out eating her soon to be 9 year old brother. My solution is to go buy a tangerine tree for our backyard. Easy to pick & peel. Some might say it's mean, but I think it's kind of old fashioned and delightful like living on a farm. Here's how it would work: After eating a full meal, if Miss Hungry comes a callin', I can send her out back to eat as many tangerines as she wants. And boy, does Miss Hungry love fruit! At the moment our backyard 'orchard' contains 2 very mature avocado trees, 1 pomegranate tree, 1 plum tree and our new specials on the menu... a tangerine tree, a grape vine and a boysenberry bush. (It only took us a little over an hour of standing around & discussing what to buy & where we'd plant it.)

i think that's a great idea! if someone is still hungry after dinner there is nothing better than eating some fruit!
What a little sweetie. We have a Miss Hungry too. We took her out to a local hot dog stand and on the way home she asked to go a have Chinese food!!!

Yeah, my Chris always says that too, with a twist, "Hi Hungry, I'm Dada!"
We have plum and pecan trees here, and not only can you see the kids feeding their faces when they're out to play, but the DOGS too!!

Love that you have fruit trees......
I got a tiny glance of your room..it has black.
I changed mine back to accents with black...it is so hard to pull it all together though.
I had the black and pink in my room...moved it to the office and now it is back in my room again.
I would love to see pics of yours :)
To look at me now you wouldn't believe it but I was a very skinny girl..just like your darling Miss Hungry. It seems after I would eat dinner, my stomache would start growling. After my dear and super harrassed mom had had enough, she started making me drink three glasses of milk at dinner time. I guess it worked because I would leave the table with my belly making sloshing noises! Luckily for us, we had three peach trees, five cherry trees, one pear tree and a large pecan tree.
Deanna :D
I had one of those "I'm still hungries". Like a bottonless pit!!
Have a great day!!
Love,
