Our Favorite Spot to Eat...

A little (big) boy doing a big man's job.
Touching up our favorite eating spot with some fresh paint.
Outside in the warm California sun!

Some of the memories I want to give my children often originate out of my own selfish desire to make my own memories watching them.

Going to the beach during the week, eating lunch & dinner in the backyard, peeling corn stalks outside on the grass, the smell of food cooking all day, wearing bathing suits all day and not coming inside till it's dark, letting them pick all my new flower blossoms for 'make believe weddings', and going for walks down at the beach at sunset.

Country fairs, cousin's houses & camping all add to the delight.

Outdoor BBQing and old fashion backyard birthday parties.
Are just a few of the things I enjoy as much as the little Twinkies.
Having my hard worker re-paint the picnic table was a blessing because it truly is a central part of our outdoor family extravaganzas!
(yes, it's black but looks great with my pink umbrella)

Oh ya, Hubby MADE the picnic table with scrap wood a few years ago!

Ya got a good 'un, chickee! I'd keep him especially if he "works" for free. LOL

Seems like summer already out there-lucky you! The daffodils are just blooming here. I never painted outdoor furniture black-only used the redwood stain or sprayed the plastic stuff with new paint. What a hard worker you have!

I think black would be perfect for a picnic table!!!! It would just set off all its surroundings that much more.

My Show n Tell is some of my treasured roses and amaryllis this week. Come by and enjoy the sweet fragrance and beauty.

Happy Friday.

I too like watching my kids do things. We also like to eat outside and having lots of people over to do that with us is even more fun.

A lovely picnic table...your husband did a great job! You will make lots of wonderful memories with it. Your son did a good job painting it!

You have a great back yard. I can see that your grandchildren will have wonderful memories there. Not only is the table great, but I had a look at that tire swing on the tree. I bet that tree is a good climber, too.

I would do a lot of those same things with our kids when they were small! I still come up with activities for us all to share!

I'm sorry! It's not a code, when you contact her - she will apply the discount for you.

Thanks!
