Not all my Sweeties took binkies.
Not all my Sweeties liked baby food.
Not all my Sweeties slept in their bassinets.
Not all my Sweeties walked by a year.
BUT, they all have nite-nites.
Actually they still have them.
For some, the nite-nites only share bed space now.
For others, they still cuddle them at night.
I introduce my Cupcakes and their nite-nites.
The sweetness only a child can hold.

Sweet post. My youngest daughter had a blanket she loved and could not sleep without, it had rips and holes in it from her putting it over her head and wearing it like a poncho. Good memories.
Enjoy your day,
Elizabeth
Ok, well, I am 32 years old, and my beloved Blankie (yes, that IS his name, and he doesn't like it when people make fun of it!) sleeps in my bedside table drawer (because of his age, the light bothers him) and has been my constant companion since I could drool. My Mom was hardly allowed to wash him because it would make him smell "funny!" He is very often comforting Teddy, who also sleeps in the bedside table drawer. Both of my "nite nite's" are frayed and stitched and missing some vital parts, but I love them just the same, and always will...
Lord willing, both of my little treasured friends from childhood will be in my casket with me! :D
Oh what a sweet post...I packed away both of my kiddos blankies with their baby things...what sweet memories of both. I remember one time we thought my daughter had left hers in a hotel..and we were just about ready to turn back when it was found smooshed in the bottom of the dirty clothes! Whew! That woulda been 60 miles of backtracking for a blankie...lol. Your babies are too precious..you are so very blessed, Wendy!

Very cute! My puppy has her very own nite-nite!
How sweet. I never had a nite-nite. I sucked my thumb.
The nite-nite's are sweet and the children are just precious!
That is a sweet post. My sister is 48 and she is a Judge.. and ... she still holds hers to watch tv or relax.. I guess it beats lots of other habits..lol. Marilyn xoxo
Our boys call them fuzzies and still have them. I myself still have same feather pillow since I was 8 and can not sleep with another. Don't worry I do run it through the dryer on high on a regualr basis. This was a beautiful post thanks for sharing.
How sweet! My sister ( who is 27 ) has had a froggie blanket someone made her when she was born, though his toes and a few other pieces of him have fallen off she still has him and now shares him with her little ones. I think it's very sweet! My oldest was never attached to one but my 6 month old seems to be attached to a certain blanket. Precious! Thanks for sharing!
How adorable! I can see those nite nites are well loved. :)

Precious! I kept all of Amanda's blankies in my grandma hope chest. Maybe some day!!
Ahhh...all of your little cupcakes are just adorable!!! These photos will be great memory keepers some day for them!
Our 14 yr. old daughter still has a nite-nite and she even carries it with her whenever she spends the night away from home!

None of my children had a blankie-not that I didn't encourage it!-but they loved their bears and squashed them while they were sleeping until they looked like blankets! Your post is so sweet! Mine are grown..15,20,24...sigh.

If I believed in reincarnation, I'd come back as somebodies blankie... Can you imagine the love? Seriously....
