When you see me at Target or Costco with 6 little ducklings orderly (hopefully) walking behind me, you might think, "Man, that's a lot of kids!" But when I watch them play, read books together, or eat together that's not what I see. In actuality, it really doesn't seem like too many to me. Maybe it's because GOD has given them to me one at a time so that I've had time to adjust. I get used to having 4, then five, six, and soon to be seven. With each pregnancy, I get REALLY scared (ask my hubby) and at times I've cried, panicking at the thought of how I'm going to care, handle, run errands, or meet needs of one more. I was scared when I was going to have 3 children under 4, then I was scared when I was going to have 4 under 5 and so on. I get really comfortable caring for the quiverfull of arrows that I have at the time and it really scares me that I might not be able to be as good a Mommy if one more is added (even though I trust God with my family size and believe that He knows far better than I do). But when that new sweetie first comes home, I have to admit that it is HARD and difficult, but over time I learn how to adjust, be flexible and have more patience which is something that I really do need to have more of. My biggest revelation right now is that everything will get done-- in its proper time. It might not be right now, right that second or even by the end of the night, BUT it will get done and if it doesn't (which is hardly ever the case), it's okay-- My Cupcakes still love me and my hubby still thinks I'm doing a great job. This summer, I have some goals and growing I want to do, and with a new baby to add to the half dozen in our little house, I'm sure I will be tested, stretched and hopefully, matured.

i think it's amazing the love you have for your children- whether it's one or almost seven! you are an inspiration. i only have one and fear if i were to add a second i wouldn't be able to love them equally. hearing about moms like you really help other moms who are questioning having more children :)
You are such an awesome mommy! Your kids are so lucky to have you. And you are so lucky to have them. Makes me wish that my hubby would have agreed to more than two.
I honestly think its amazing what you do, how you do it, and the level of patience and serenity you have in doing it. You are obviously a very special lady, with a whole lot of love to give, and God was right in giving you so many beautiful children! I am a single Mommy of 2 and there are days when I think I may lose my mind (or at least handfuls of hair that covers it!)...you are an inspiration to all Moms!
Hugs,
Melinda
You have the serenety & patience of a saint. I think any concerns you have now are normal as your due time gets closer.
One thing about us humans... We always can love one more child!!
Love to You All,

Mother used to say (5 kid-lings she had) 'what's one more?, after the 3rd'. When she went shopping we were obedient, lined like little soldiers & would never think of not behaving.
Accolades to you with yours ... you are blessed.

Gosh you have a lovely attitude on the welcoming of children to your family. I can see that you set your priorities for success! Not many of us are that advanced. I read you blog everyday, and don't comment often, but this was just too adorable and inspiring to ignore. Blessings to all of you!
My mom had six blessings. I don't know she coped. I only have four and I get that " are they all yours" as well. But I live in CO, where people have dogs instead of kids.
Each new baby brings something special and new to the family!! What a sweet Mommy you are..and what sweet cupcakes you have.. all of them are blessings!!
Love, Jerelene
I wish for you sweetie the very best! I would love to live next door and be your helper! Honestly! You are so good and kind and God will watch over you all! I remember when I had number four and felt so afraid! In a way it does get some easier but the household stuff can be a drag! Sending hugs, Lori

How refreshing to read your words! I have 6, and would happily have more. Yet just as you said it is easy to be fearful - but the Lord gives us exactly what we need to grow and to teach us so much!
Blessings on you and your blessings.
How wonderful to read your words. I have been blessed with 6 wonderful children and I would welcome another one in a heartbeat.
We are truly blessed with our children that is for sure and it is such a blessing to read your wonderful posts about your kidlets and you.
God is truly amazing for sure.
I think you are one of the "sweetest, kindest persons and a Mommy with a really big heart".
Have a wonderful weekend,
