late nights

Wanna meet a party animal?Well, she thinks she's one.Have you ever taken a baby somewhere hoping the child will sleep through the event, but instead the opposite happens? For me, this scenario unfolded at church last night. At the beginning of the sermon, my little wee one decided to wake up, keeping me busy the entire time until right before it ended, and then she promptly fell fast asleep. ugh! What a stinker. We loaded up the car, went home and after feeding all the little, hungry bears a late night snack, my little Miss Ruby reawakened and decided it was time to party. Until 2:30am in the morning. Thank God hubbies are willing to help out. While I slept, her Daddy snuggled with her and kept her entertained until she finally drifted off to sleep. And now, while the family is busy with this morning's tasks, sleeping beauty has decided to sleep in, exhausted from last night's escapade. Oh! The life of a 7 week old. nice.

She is soooo adorable!

My grand-daughter is 15 months old... every time I want to put her to sleep, I just have to take her for a drive. 5 minutes later she's out. :)

Oh how totally darling. I've been away a lot this summer and was wondering how your little bundle of beautiful joy is doing. It is funny how they get their days and nights mixed up isn't it? Not so fun at the time though. Our oldest just went away to college...and I don't think I'm old enough for that...but you can never have too many children in my opinion. Have a wonderful labor day. xo rachel
