Life is over!...maybe.

A little look into my unperfect life, but yet, perfect in every way.

Let me see..what has happened this week in our quiet.little.home?

Sophia climbed up the shower wall (I couldn't believe it either) and broke the handle off our ONLY shower in the house! That's right-- we have seven kids, a mommy and a daddy with one bathroom. Since no one (Home Depot, etc.) carried the replacement part, the family has been taking showers with daddy having to use a screw driver to turn the water on, praying each time that the plastic doesn't get stripped leaving us without the ability to shower or take a bath for that matter since the tub was rendered inoperable as well in this whole event. In addition to this aggravation, Lincoln's diaper fell off inside his pants around his ankles twice while fully loaded,
Ruby's diaper blew out twice in her car seat causing me to have to take her whole care seat apart to wash it, Hubby & I got in an argument about a silly home schooling book case, Parker has pink eye (very scary with a family of 9), I wanted to quit home schooling after the first day as I lost control over anyone age 3 and under who ran wild during our lessons, my 9 year old said 'p----d off' (a phrase neither I nor my husband use) in the proper context while my mouth fell to the floor and could not be retrieved, Hubby's car stopped working and had to go to the auto shop, Lincoln fell in the shower and received a shiner and we were blessed with $75.00 worth of gift cards.

And I was so busy I didn't even notice any of it!

'¡Olé!'(clap,clap)

it's friday.

Oh wow..... I have no words...but PTL for the gift cards... we already took our very first "vacation" day.. for religious reasons of coarse ;0. After 2 days of schooling a day of prayer and rest was DEF. needed. Your not alone...

Even with only two children sometimes seem so out of control. Yet I find myself telling myself I wouldn't miss this for the world. I also know why I told my husband I couldn't have more children then I had hands for. :)

There is a lot going on in your home. I can feel with you as I had four sons who did their share. ...LOL And all the things I didn't know off and have told me now that they are grown up/
Happy pink Saturday

Thank you for showing the real pink slippers. We can sympathize and understand how you feel. I love your ability to share the ups and downs, that is what makes your blog one in a million and why we love it! Good luck with the shower! Lori

Thank you for this. I think it was great timing that I saw this in your "you might also like" section today. This is what the last month has been like for us! Add to that we are not taking the summer off for school. So while all the other homeschool moms are counting down the days, I'm wondering why I thought this was a good idea? But with moving, illness, many doctor appt, upcoming surgery, I know we cannot afford to take off this summer. Whew! It's nice to know I am not the only one who deals with craziness. I'm just grabbing on the nice moments, and letting that be my focus instead of trying to worry about the other junk. God will handle it.

And now I hear my 2 yr old waking saying, "Nap is over! Time to go outside!"
