tornado.

What were these two doing when the tornado hit?

I have two little boys who can read a book or build a Lego masterpiece and be completely oblivious to a roaring tornado. While outside one sunny day, when the nice neighbor kids were visiting, Ethan decided to get a bit foolish and throw a football at one of their faces. 2 times. What happened next? The girl and siblings decided to beat Ethan up. Yup. Beat him up. Fists and all. After it was broken up by Daddy, we asked Parker (who was no more than 20 feet away through it all) why he didn't do something. His reply, "I was reading my book I didn't notice."

Hmmm. I guess it was a good book.

Updated: The neighbor kids are actually really nice kids. But, not when a foolish somebody is throwing a football at one of their faces (two times). I guess they were taught to stick up for one another and Ethan learned not to throw footballs at other peoples faces.
After the incident Ethan was proud he never cried and they all got back to playing.

Haha...I wish I could say it gets better when they are teenagers but my daughter just witnessed one of her guy friends get beat up by a bunch of other guys...for no reason! She had to indentify one of the guys to the police and now she may have to go to court!!! yikes!

Anyway...I came over to tell you that I think that grass cloth green is a lot brighter than sage green. It's almost a little lime greenish...sort of...

I am sure Ethan will be more careful where he throws a ball now!! I guess that's how we all learn 'through experience'
