I did not come home from a weekend in San Diego to find that one of the gas burners on our stove had been left on {by a dear relative}. And our house was not filled with the smell of gas. Nope, not me.
I did not spend Saturday night of our trip completely awake because I had 5 kids in the room with me who were restless and coughing the entire night while hubby slept out on the couch. Nope, not me.
I did not stand for nearly 50 minutes straight in the front row during the memorial service for my husband's Yiayia (grandmother) at his aunts Greek Orthodox Church with all 7 of my children, 9 years old and under. Nope, not me.
I did not have several people compliment me on how well behaved my little troop was. Nope, not me.
I did not say out loud in front of serious Sunday football watching men how I was so thankful for not having a TV in my house after watching all the men glued to the games (including my man) for hours on end.
I did not have a most wonderful weekend with my husband {& children} and his family. Nope, not me.

I am spending a little time this morning finding interesting new blogs or revisiting some of my favorites. Oh my, it looks like you "don't" have your hands full!
You have such a lovely family ... I am so sorry that you were not complimented on their excellent behavior! ;-)
Chris' YiaYia lived in San Diego? Ha! I thought she was in Mass! Haven't I met her before Chris?
You have a new header, its wonderful! I really love it.
You had quite the weekend in deed.
Always good to be home.
Take care and have peaceful week,
Elizabeth
Hello,
I have left you expecting and I find you with a new baby! Congratulations!
I was scrolling down to catch up with your not-doings when nI came across this post. I was not aware of your Greek-Orthodox connection!
Sending greetings and best wishes.
