inside play.

On one cold and rainy day, the kids came up with a new way to have a little bit of indoor fun. The objective: Climb into the giant container already full of stuffed animals, then have one of the other kids push you over into a huge pile on the floor. OK, sure...it works.

Sophia, Pearl & Lincoln thought it was a blast.

It's amazing how kids can do the same thing over and over and over and over again and it is funny each and every time. It's times like these that remind me that even with all my faults, my children have a good {a blessed} life. This makes me swell up with thankfulness to the Lord that they will have such happy childhood memories. And all of that encourages me on those difficult, defeated and discouraged days to repent, admit to being wrong and persevere to be a better mommy for my 7 little children.

I read your blog pretty regularly...I don't know how I happened upon it at first, but I love the kids pics! I have three and I always think how fun it would be to have seven...especially with an attitude like yours.
I've never commented before, but now I must ask...WHERE did you find that adorable thing with the pink canopy top in the background of the first pic??

I love this post. Our daily life should remind us how blessed we are shouldn't it. I often times in the past few weeks have dealt with self-pity and discontentment. Shame on me!!
Thanks for reminding me it is the simple things in life!
