morning.

Do you ever have nights/mornings where you're up every other hour nursing a baby who has a cold, you're recovering from a cold, you went to bed the evening before way too late, your daughter wakes you up sometime after you finally fell asleep to tell you she threw up, your husband wakes you up at 5:30 am on his way to 6am prayer after you migrated to the couch in the middle of the night, and your four year old wakes up crying because he peed the bed...

B
ut somehow, in the midst of it all, you are thankful that your house is tidy and rough mornings can still be turned into peaceful days.

Sounds like my life. lol My mom is always telling me "Joy comes in the morning"! I always feel so crazy during the night and think "How will I get through this?" and sure enough, the morning works out so much better. I pray for a good night for you!

I think that's why God gave us mommies a passion for coffee in the morning :)

beautiful. the words flow together like poetry and as much as the balance seems tipped the wrong way at first, your thankfulness and peace orient us back to the essential beauty that is parenting. thank you.
