summer.

My husband is now officially on summer vacation. My children just got new, powerful squirt guns for wild water fights. I am no longer suffering from a sunburn. The sun has been our friend, visiting us everyday. We should be getting that hunk of a jelly fish pool out for the kids to splash away. Over the last months, the boys have been collecting recyclable bottles and cans to turn in for cash so they can purchase a few pool cleaning items. Last year, we had a fight with algae. Yuck!
I think I'm gonna buy a raft for the pool-- as long as the kids don't tip me over. I'm excited --we have a few big family vacations planned. This summer will be a hit.

Love the super soakers. We've got our share of them at our home. I always laugh because after a certain point one of my children will go and hook up my garden sprayer onto the hose and really get the other party!

Fun post.

A tip about the pool - my dad found out that the main ingredient in many pool cleaning products is Baking Soda. He goes to Costco and gets the big box of Arm and Hammer and uses it to help keep his pool clean all summer!
