Yesterday I visited the ultrasound technician for the gender and sizing appointment. It was confirmed that I am due between November 7-13. For some reason, I'm leaning more towards the 13th...
My husband waited in the van with the 4 youngest while I had the 3 oldest standing by my side chit chatting as to whether or not mommy was gonna have a boy or a girl. Fortunately for the baby, the score is tied 3 to 3-- that is, 3 kids want another girl and 3 want it to be a boy. There's one abstention from Ruby since she's not even one. But I'd be willing to bet that she'd be pretty happy with a little sister to play with. You might be surprised to learn that not all the boys want a boy and similarly with the girls.
In the past, when we went to other ultrasounds, we'd take the whole family into the room with us, but not this time. We left not knowing. Not because he couldn't determine the baby's gender, but because I declined to know.
Why not have a surprise for baby # 8?

HI there!! Following you from NFF!
WOW @ your strength:) It must be such a different experience raising and also growing up in a household like yours:)
Hi! Just popping in to visit from New Friend Fridays on the 'The Girl Creative'.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! You're very brave going back so soon...and for number eight!
We have a nearly 2 year old and are due with our new addition to our family at about the same time as you! You must be a great mum to be able to look after 8 children!
Surprises, surprises!! I just love surprises . . . when it comes to finding out the gender of a baby! Of my babes, we only found out with number seven (the final blessing). That bundle is our second daughter who followed five sons then one daughter. What fun it will be to "wait" with you!
I am happy you don't know what the gender is. What a wonderful surprise for all the children whe the baby comes.
Yay for no binky for Lincoln.
Your baby is due a couple of weeks before my daughters no.2 (1st Dec)and then 22nd december my sons fiance is having a baby too
Alison
Well....It will be one or the other... As my Mom used to say "They don't make a third kind"!!
Have a Wonderful Day!
Love,
Marilyn
Congrats on such a beautiful friday-you sure are a real "super-mom"! All 3 times I thought that I want tthe gender to be a surprise, but we always found out. I think that it will be so neat for your kids to keep guessing if they will be getting a brother or sister!

Tell me what you are having?
How about a belly pic head on and then profile and tell me the babies heart rate and we can all guess?
What do you think?
And I am still waiting for the cliffhanger from your conference!
