alive.

There are many things going on in our home and church. Changes. I love changes. As long as it still means I get to sleep in my same bed each night (remember the van problems which I still need to tell you about?). We rearranged our church sanctuary from facing in one direction to another. I'm excited about this because of the reason behind it: growth. We didn't just need a fresh look, we needed some more chairs! And the new configuration allows us to add 25% more without seeming more crowded. We have a bunch of great people who are on fire whose lives have been radically changed. They are planted and taking root.

Change means things get to be made, built, painted and moved. That, to me, is fun change. And me being a woman-- this is my specialty. We're buying international flags to hang up indicating the overseas works we help support. Very neat. A sound booth is being made for Parker to sit in to run the overhead projector. Of course, he's very excited about this one. And some new signs for the outside of our building will be going up. Something fresh and new.

We are gearing up to begin building our 4th of July float for the local parade. Last year, we had a great time and we're looking to have a bigger impact this year.

Last week we outreached on the street corner-- preaching and testifying of the great news of the Gospel with a bull horn while giving out invites to the cars stopped at the lights.

And a day later, we were on the naval base outreaching to our soldiers in front of the galley.

On Sunday, our neighbor kids begged me to have Parker ask their grandma each week if they can come to church with us.

God is good and moving in our church. And that's a very good thing.

At home, we're painting our living/dining room a soft pretty pink (yes, pink!), changing our old laundry room into a classroom, finishing up a few of our big projects & hopefully planting a few more flowers (maybe).
