It has become part of our annual trip that when we go to purchase some fireworks for the 4th, we make it a half day affair by visiting an old town train yard. We picnicked in the courtyard of the local city hall while the kids ran by the fountain and climbed on the now defunct cabooses. For me, it was the type of day I always envision. Perfect setting, perfect weather, my cupcakes and my sweetie with me. Perfect.

My kids would love that train! And what a great pic of all your kids on it, I have a tough time getting 3 to sit right!
