school?

The family marched out to buy our school books for this upcoming homeschool year.

The children look forward to touching, looking, reading and examining their new grade school books.

Every year we go to the materials display, Parker seems to find one book that he really loves and reads nearly the whole thing by the time we leave. That's neat to me.

Even though, I was sooooo done by the time we finished the last academic year, I find myself itching to begin working again-- like right now, today. I guess that's just the teacher in me. The kids are totally the opposite and want their summer to last as long as possible. And that's how it should be. Good thing I've got someone to balance me out.

We also got a bunch of storage containers to help get organized; Order gets me excited also.....did I mention that I can't wait to get started.

Just knew you were at an ABeka meeting from the very first picture you put up!! "Mr. ABeka" comes to our city at the end of next week . . . when I'll participate in my 12th year of ordering.

Sounds like fun. I love A Beka - the kids' school uses it and I love to read their books while they are reading them and when they are done. Maybe one day I will teach from them.
We bought school supplies and I can't believe how excited I get from marble notebooks and 25 cent crayola crayons.
So awesome that Parker loves to read- it is a real testimony to what great parents you guys are when you can instill a love of reading like that.
Kudos!
