designed.

Even though I am Jesus oriented
(meaning: my life revolves around God)
I am a wife and mother before any other calling.
I live my life to serve Jesus
and I live my life to create a childhood
my children will always be fond of.
I despise electronics for my children
I prefer to gravitate towards the outdoors
playing, laughing, snuggling, sitting in the sun with a baby on my lap
This is my life
as a mommy of 7-- soon to be 8 children
if 1 is missing, we all notice, we all miss 'em
Sure I have my trials, weaknesses and difficult days
but they are all worth it when I watch them running and laughing
and yes we eat every single meal together, no exceptions.
I go to the doctor; we all go to the doctor
Daddy goes to Costco; we all go to Costco
Mommy and Daddy go to Home Depot; we all go to Home Depot
I actually like my kids and like being around them
And I think they really like being in this particular family
God knew the perfect individuals to make up our family
A perfect God can do this.

I am the same way! I am a stay at home mom to my 3 kids and I have plenty of opportunities to go places alone... grocery store, homegoods, bank, etc... but do I? Never! My husband and kids are always with me or I with them. I like it that way.
Do you have cable tv in your home? If so, do you allow your kids any tv time?

Our family is the same way too. My husband works from home, I work from home and I also homeschool. We have 5 children our 6th blessing on the way. We love being around each other, it's a very rare occasion that we even let any of them sleepover at anyone else's house. I can't understand when people say they can't wait for school to start back so they can ship their children off to strangers to raise them. I love my life and wouldn't have it any other way.

Aww, me too! Me too! My parents live next door, and my mom is always offering to watch the girls while I go grocery shopping or run an errand. No, thank you. I just love having them with me, and don't feel right when I'm without them.

Love your blog, btw!
