My war cry when me and the troops walk in the door is: "Shoes and hands. Everyone TAKE OFF your shoes and WASH your hands!"
I say it every time we walk in the door.
Not to sound like a clanging pot, but as a continuous effort to train the little people in our home.
Even Little Lincoln walks in the door, falls bottom down on the floor, takes off his shoes and socks and waddles to the bathroom to wash his hands.
I love it.
Shoes and hands.
Just like we pick up our dishes and cups after our meals.
I don't see a maid around here, but a home we all appreciate and care for.

That's a good rule. And it's always easier when they learn young!
Love that rule, we do the same thing-shoes off and hands washed when we come home.
Brilliant!
So funny, you sound just like me!Blessings Marla
