My Mom asked me the other day via text what time I start school.

This question was prompted, I think, because since we started school, my time on the phone has been close to zilch. I have been too busy running my large corporation (my family).

Even though our class time begins promptly at 9am, there is so much that needs to be done between 7am and 9am. Must I really list them?

It can be compared to a steam engine picking up momentum before going full steam ahead.

There is just not any time to sit and chat.

I am the captain of a very large ship. I need to be on deck overlooking the shipmates and deckhands doing their chores and preparing for the day. If I am on the phone or busy with personal things, I have little ones who may get lost and not keep focus on the tasks at hand.

That is just the way we roll around here.

Saturday and Sunday the schedule is kept too.

Not because I am so uptight, but figured it helps little ones learn by being consistent.

I am a busy lady running a house of busy little people. And I like it.

I need some help. How do you do history and science. Do all your kids do seperate history and science? Do you do any hands on projects? I made apost on this a few seconds ago, but I came straight to you because I knew you might have some helpful tips. My blog is no longer private.

I can so relate. I am a working Mom but I understand the business of keeping a schedule and everyone in gear. When I home schooled my kids I was the same way. I think you are on the right track...keep it up!
