There are only 8 more days left of school for us.
I am super excited, not because homeschooling is so miserable, but it does tend to become rather tedious down the home stretch. The kids need to be motivated with the threat of school through June and I'm just kinda tired of being the drill Sargeant.
Plus-- I just really love our summer vacations.
You know, like being able to wake up and spend our days out back on the slip-n-slide or in the pool. Nothing chaining us down to pencils, papers and workbooks.
I guess that this is the benefit and beauty of homeschooling-- we can make the necessary adjustments in order to get it done one way or another.
We can change our location altogether if need be... Like being outside and not stuck in a room with four walls. And yes, they did actually work. It wasn't a 'staged' photo op.
