Every Year & Link Up.

I say this every year..I must be crazy.

In the middle of the Summer the 'box man' brings our new ABEKA curriculum, I start to redecorate the school room and hubby usually builds something on his vacation that helps our next school year.

All of this stirs my heart and makes me excited for the coming home schooling days. I know this is just the confirmation that we are doing what God wants.

Me teaching my children and spending our days learning and growing together. Us growing closer to God in our daily tasks. Me raising my children.

Making that decision four years ago was one of the best decisions I've (and hubby) ever made for our family.

But really it was just listening to what God had laid on my heart.

Our new (homemade and hand painted) bookcase.

Within the typical day or week so much occurs that is insignificant,
only lasts for a moment or is thankfully forgettable.

Ugly, dull, irritating, tedious moments surround us,
yet nestled somewhere in the midst of them,
Heaven speaks to us and brightens our day.

"Give a little piece of your heart" is a
link up for you to share one of those moments:

An epiphany arrived in the darkest hour,
an inspiration guiding you in God's purpose,
a ray of sunshine that touches your heart
as you look across a garden,
or a peaceful moment in the quiet of the early morning
with a little one nestled in your lap and a hot cup of coffee in your hand.

It really could be anything-- it just has to be significant.

This is what {giving a little piece of your heart} is.

What a fun delivery. Love the red shelf - great pop of color for the school room. ;)

I have just come across your blog. So sweet! What caught my attention was the picture in your header. I love how all your children have unique expressions. We have 7 children and I know how hard it can be to get everyone on the same page, but sometimes it is just as fun to see their personalities. I am looking forward to receiving your updates!
