Each day Chris and the kiddos have been turtle watching from our third floor balcony where they had a great view of the pond below.
So it was decided they were going to go turtle exploring and catching (& releasing) before the vacation ended.
After Chris got all of the 7 older kids ready and out the door for some good old exploration, there were no turtles to be found. They went around noontime and all the turtles seemed to have hidden themselves due to the heat (115ºF) of the day. Lucky turtles.
It kinda felt like one of our visits to the zoo when you visit and all the animals are gone sleeping.
Their new plan...turtle catching (& releasing) is supposed to take place tomorrow at 6am. I'll be sleeping.
