Dove Review and Giveaway.

As much as my kids love the summertime with all its activities, I've noticed that by the end of August, it really begins to take its toll on their hair.

From playing in the backyard to a week swimming in the hotel pool in the desert to days spent in the sand and surf at the beach, their hair is exposed to it all.

For Ruby, the damage to her hair seems significantly worse than the other kids. Her long hair has become a straw-like and tangled mess of fuzzballs and snarls-- especially when she wakes up in the morning.

So when I received the bottle of Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner for review, I was very excited. I was also optimistic since our family has used Dove soap for years to help with our dry skin and we’ve been really pleased with the results. We wouldn’t think of changing brands.

After applying it to Ruby’s hair, its effects were immediate. Her hair was smooth and silky like it hadn’t been for some time. And after towel drying it, I was able to brush it easily. Ruby was so happy there weren’t those terrible knots and tangles.

Upon hearing how well it worked, my eight year old daughter Sophia used it. She couldn’t stop touching her hair because of its softness.

The biggest surprise came when Parker, our oldest son who’s twelve, tried it. He’s on a swim team and spends many hours a week in the pool which has caused his hair to become extremely coarse. His word for it was ‘chunky’. When he got out of the shower, his reaction said it all as he immediately came into our room insisting that we “had to feel” his hair. He couldn’t believe how soft it was.

Even after all that, one of the best things about the Dove conditioner was that it left no residue. There was no surface greasiness-- all my kid’s hair was just soft and shiny. And I’m loving it.

Does someone in your house need a little Dove conditioner?
