on the eve of christmas.

On Christmas Eve, we enjoyed a pretty candle light service at church. 

Well actually, it looked touching, inspiring. but -- I was too busy trying to corral the six Littles to really get the full effect. 

I don’t know if they were pumped up on cookies and chocolate or just extremely excited for Christmas, but they were more than a handful. 

This year, I earned genius points for getting battery operated candles for all the kids six and under. It only took me 10 years to figure that one out. Ha! And they even flickered. 

After service, we picked up Chinese food and enjoyed a late night meal on Christmas eve. 

The kids had a blast opening their Secret Santa gifts from each other and all in all, everyone had a really special time.
