Yes, Jesus Loves Me...

For the Bible tells me so...

I would call myself a 'Mushy Mommy' sometimes.

Very often I'm asked how can I give special time to each one of my (six) little ones when there are so many. How can I not? I'll take cuddling and holding one of them close over cleaning the toilet any day.

I'm one of those people that moves from the bed to the couch--first thing in the morning. I don't even budge without that first cup of coffee. To tell you the truth, I like laying on my couch sipping my coffee and waiting to see who emerges sleepy-eyed from their room first.

When they wake up,
all my incredible Cupcakes know who'll be there curled up on the couch waiting to cuddle with each one of them (sometimes all)...... it's Mommy!

A couple of them wobble over dragging their 'night nights'; the others might just grab one of the warm pretty blankets stacked on the couch just for a time such as this.

Throughout the day, how can I not hug someone?
Try telling my little Pearlie, who is learning to say "Mama" and give kisses, to just give ME one...No way!

And
how can I not tell 'My boys' how proud I am after they just built a HUGE fort in the front room and not crawl inside to see it?

You know how I spend quality time with each of them? By just being a FAMILY. Eating EVERY meal together, everyone.
And Loving God first.

What a wonderful mommy you are! Will the kids remember whether everything was in its place as they were growing up or will they remember the early morning cuddling and love you showered on them?
Every child should be so blessed.

What perfect pictures, and as always, perfect words! I have a Family Circle comic where someone says to mom 'how can you love them each one' Mom says 'they multiply it'. AMEN! God made us with 'stretchy hearts' there is always room for more love!!! Hug 'em tight! THESE moments are fleeting!

Thanks for sharing that! I need it. I am one that struggles with perfection. :( So I need to stop cleaning the potties, and give more huggies.

My kids get plenty of those, it's just they hear, "In a minute" more than they should. :(

Thank you!
