Hi, Wendy! Your blog is darling! I wanted to comment on your comment on my blog. :) Just watch your son really closely with the pneumonia. The pediatrician in the PICU said if a doctor diagnoses a baby with pneumonia and then sends them home with antibiotics, it can be a red flag that they aren't being aggressive enough. So just make sure they do another chest X-Ray when he goes back in, even of you have to be assertive. And if he is having trouble tolerating the antibiotic, take him back in immediately. They told me kids can be misleading because they are much better fighters than adults, and put on a good "show." I hope he will get better soon! He might be just fine on the antibiotics. Trust your instincts, and it's never bad to be over-cautious if you feel like he starts coughing more again. Oh--a cool mist humidifier is a life saver!
