A Small and New Collection

I'm torn between letting the kiddos eat them or collecting them for myself.
Oh the agony of it all! The trials of Motherhood...

I LOVE sprinkles.
I look for them whenever I go to Target, Marshall's or TJ Maxx. BUT, Michael's has tons of different, colorful, fun and even vintage ones. Now, I look forward to the weekly Michael's coupons I get e-mailed to me.
I even saw this on another blog : a SPRINKLE RACK (instead of spice rack). How about that?
Oh, don't worry, I'm already looking for one myself which I'll be painting Krylon Ballet Slipper Pink as soon as I get my hands on it.

I love sprinkles too. And what a fun collection. Maybe you could collect two every time you purchase them. :) Blessings, Jax

What a cool collection. I love baking & decorating cookies. Those sure would look pretty on a freshly baked and frosted sugar cookie!

I have collected these for several years from AC Moore. One time I even got black sugar crystals.... I thought why on earth did I ever get black?? Then I used them on a Halloween cake... it looked great!!
Take care!!

I have the top picture of sprinkles--they were great for my valentines day heart-shaped little cakes. Fun!

Are you sure you want to put glitter in your cute shakers? I get so possessive of my flea market finds....that I do not want to share!

Happy weekend :)

this is awesome! such fun! we could do the same thing here - we have so many sprinkles - they are a staple, you know! we had a 4-H cookie decorating party and my daughter and I provided all the sprinkles for like 25 kids! it was awesome! thanks for your post :O)

There is always room for the in The Shadow of the Cross. Feel free to visit anytime.

Don't you just love it when you can find even the most common items, including food products that can be made too look so pretty? I know I do and I've even been tempted to buy some of the pretty pastel sprinkles myself, even though I would probably never use them as I am not a baker. I would keep them around just because they look pretty.. :-)

Aren't sprinkles just the best?! My 4 year old granddaughter Sydney is a sprinkle addict! Whenever she comes over we make pancakes and they MUST have sprinkles of every color on top! It's become a challenge to find new, cool looking sprinkles for her pleasure!

Wendy, what a great idea! I'm sure most of us have more than one container of sprinkles around. Just goes to show you that you can make a tasteful (no pun intended) collection of of anything!

I also agree with Jackie - buy two of each kind; one for you and one for the kids.
