Chores for Everyone

From the oldest to the youngest (if they're capable!), my sweeties have chores. If one of the cupcakes get tired of doing their chore, my hubby & I tell them 'to train the next little fella to take over and we'll give you a new one'. Feeding the kitties has been passed on through 4 sweeties and now I have a 2 year old who WANTS to feed them. Each time I remind Charlie to feed FinneyDolphin the cat, Pearlie says, "me, me, me." It kind of reminds me of the Seagull's in "Finding Nemo". It's really kind of cute! So if you're wondering, "Well, what can a 2 year old do?" Let me just say that mine loves to feed the kitty. AND she's really good at it too!

That is great that they are taught responsibiblity. A lot of kids no longer have to do chores anymore and grow up not knowing how to take care of their families. Me for one. :) I need to set up a couple simple chores for my three year old to do now that I think she is capable.

Aww I'm sure all will be ok at your ultrasound. I have tons of things going on in my pregnancy right now too. Driving me nuts, you'd think we would know it all after having a few (this is only my third) I'm 32 weeks, how far are you?

I do the same thing, I search online if I don't feel I got enough of my questions were answered, but like my fiance says, online always gives you the worst case scenario so sometimes its not worth doing it. You and baby are in my thoughts!

I love that the children are eager for responsibilites. My parents did the same for us when we were itty bitty but not so much that we wouldn't be able to do it properly. It does instill an appreciation of doing things together as a family...I always called our family the modern day Waltons....lol! Good job hon!

My 2-yr-old likes to help me move the clothes from the washer to the dryer and help with the dishwasher! People don't give little ones enough credit!
