Diaper Bag, Oh so cute!

I don't know how, but somehow my hubby used my habit of collecting purses and diaper bags as a sermon illustration. However, his remarks may not have cast me in the best light since, as he described the situation, everyone was laughing-- at me, I think?(He knows I don't mind and I laughed too!) He started off wondering if all women loved bags/purses as much as his wife. That's probably when the laughter began. The reality is: He has no idea! The incident which brought all this on happened when My hot leopard diaper bag(which I spent more than I should have on...) broke down. I got it a couple of babies ago, so it's gotten a lot of use. I knew this day would come so I've been keeping my eyes peeled in search of a potential replacement that would be loved as much as my last one. It's hard! But, I think I may have found it. Now I can take back all the other ones that I bought, but wasn't sure of and did not use. You know that's what receipts are for. Did I hear an 'Amen!'

Cute, cute cute!!
I certainly don't miss the days of carrying around a diaper bag... I just wish they would have had diaper bags as cute as that 15 years ago.
Thanks for sharing

Doesn't your husband know that a girl HAS to accessorize? It's part of what makes us female! Happy Pink Saturday and have a loveleigh weekend!

Hmmmm....I would imagine that whenever one's habits are used as a sermon illustration it's not likely to be cast in the best light - must be a hazard of being married to a pastor! You have to laugh along with it - you're a good sport.

But you sure got a great new bag!

Have a wonderful Pink saturday!

Hi Wendy,
Amen! Cute bag! My hubby picked on me a couple of times in his sermons when he first started out. It didn't take him long to realize that 'little wifey' is off-limits when he's behind the pulpit! Happy Pink Saturday!

Blessings,
Sandi

One day of the week I can count on for self-indulgence, Beverly's Pink Saturday. My l♥ve for the color is fed over and over and over by the generosity of everyone who participates. This week is no exception.

Thank you for sharing such great eye-candy. It was an absolute pleasure to visit your blog. Hoping this weekend finds you surrounded by l♥ve and happiness.

Oh I DEFINITELY have a weakness for purses bags and totes!!.. More so than shoes I would say, but probably only because I cannot MAKE shoes! (Actually, I am working around that. I have done some crocheted flip flops, and am thinking of painting some sneakers somewhere down the line too!) Anyways, I'm glad to hear you've found that "tickled you pink"!! Happy Pink Saturday, and hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Happy PINK to you! Yes, I used to have more shoes, purses and belts than the law should allow...LOL I have simplified as I've gotten older though..it just doesn't have the same importance....and of course, now I need that storage space for the vintage and new fabric that I collect....it's much LARGER than all the accessories ever were!

Have a great week,
Stephanie

Hello
Just decided to do a little pink visiting and came across your site. I am laughing at some posts, crying at others and feeling the warm cozies of when my four were young. You have made me feel so good about my choice to have had four, know why? We can laugh at ourselves and find joy in the littlest things, and can feel human when we give the kids cereal for supper! I can sense feelings when I read your posts that I had had years ago. there were days believe me@ But I would never trade them! I never really worked when they were young, some volunteering here and there. We did no preschools. We played, we laughed and now that they are older (30,25.23,21) we remember the wonderful memories of things I thought they never noticed and did! I salute you, I take my hat off to you and I also wish you a beautiful labor, I too loved being pregnant! I will with alot of pleasure add you to my sidebar tonite! I never want to miss a cupcake moment at your home! Thank you for warming my heart of when mine were small and under my wing! Our children grow so fast! Love to you, Lori
